FAQs for Terrazzo Flooring
How is Terrazzo installed?
Typically poured in place or precast, laid over a concrete base or membrane then ground and polished until smooth.
Can I use Epoxy Terrazzo outdoors?
No, epoxy versions must be interior only, as sunlight can cause fading or peeling. Cement-based terrazzo is suitable outdoors.
How long does it last?
Decades, even centuries! It’s one of the most long-lasting flooring finishes.
Is it Expensive?
Installation can be more costly than standard tiles, but its lifespan and low maintenance make it cost-effective over time.
